The Skylane MCP server is not switched on yet. The address below is where it will run; the Developer page in Skylane will say when it is live. Until then, use the REST API.

Before you start

  • An API key - see Create and use an API key.
  • An AI assistant that can add a remote MCP server with Bearer token authentication. The setting is usually called connectors, integrations or MCP servers.

Steps

  1. Step 1

Create a key for the assistant

In Settings, then Developer, create a key named after the assistant (for example Claude desktop) and copy it.

Where to find it in Skylane
    1. Settings
    2. Developer
    3. Create a key
  2. Step 2

    Add a remote MCP server

In your assistant's settings, add a remote (HTTP) MCP server with this address:

    MCP server URL
    https://skylane-api.moneymasterhq.com/mcp
  3. Step 3

    Choose Bearer token authentication

Pick Bearer token (or an Authorization header) and paste your API key.

  4. Step 4

    Try it

Ask the assistant to list your Skylane accounts or draft a post. Posts it creates arrive in Skylane as drafts for you to check before anything is published.

  5. Step 5

Cut off access at any time

Revoke the key under Your keys on the Developer page. The assistant loses access straight away.
