Pre-flight checks
Before a post is scheduled we check caption length, media size, format, aspect ratio and account health for each network.
Automatic retries
If a platform is busy or times out, Skylane retries automatically. If it still cannot publish, you get the reason and a one-click retry.
Reconnect warnings
We warn you before a connection lapses - including 7 days before a token expires - so you can reconnect in a few seconds.

No. Meta removed third-party posting to personal profiles in August 2018, so no official tool can do it. Tools that still offer it rely on your password or browser bots, which can get your account restricted. Skylane posts to Facebook Pages.
Never. You sign in on each platform's own login screen and grant Skylane permission through the official API. We store an encrypted access token, not your password, and you can revoke it at any time.
The post is marked as failed with a plain-English reason. If the cause is temporary, Skylane retries automatically first. If it still cannot publish, you can fix the issue and retry in one click. If you have turned on failure alerts, you are told straight away.
No. Every alert is off by default. You choose which events you want to hear about and where: email, in-app, Slack, Discord or your own webhook.
Instagram requires a professional account (Business or Creator) for scheduling through its API. Switching is free and takes about a minute in the Instagram app.
