Before you start
- You have a Facebook Page, not only a personal profile. Meta does not let any app post to personal profiles - here is why.
- Your personal Facebook account has access to the Page with full control, or partial access that includes Content. Not sure? See Give someone posting access to a Facebook Page.
- You are the owner or an admin of the Skylane workspace. Other roles cannot connect accounts.
Steps
- Step 1
Open Accounts in Skylane
In the left-hand menu, click Accounts. Scroll to the Connect an account section, where each network has its own card.
Where to find it in Skylane- Accounts
- Connect an account
- Step 2
Click Connect Facebook
On the Facebook Pages card, click Connect Facebook. Skylane sends you to Facebook's own login window. Skylane never sees your password.

Sign in to Facebook
Sign in with the personal Facebook account that manages the Page, if Facebook asks. Then continue as that account.
- Step 4
Choose the Pages to share
When Facebook asks which Pages Skylane can use, select every Page you want to schedule to. Pages you leave out will not appear in Skylane.
- Step 5
Approve the permissions
Leave every permission switched on and continue until Facebook sends you back to Skylane. Switching a permission off stops posting from working.
- Step 6
Choose what to add
Back in Skylane, a box called Choose what to add from Facebook appears. Tick each one you want to schedule to - each counts as one social account on your plan - then click the Add button (it shows how many you ticked, for example Add 1 account).

Check it says Connected
Under Connected accounts, your Page now shows a green Connected badge. You can click Queue times next to it to set the days and times you like to post.

Common problems
My Page is not in the list
Click Connect Facebook again and make sure the Page is selected on Facebook's Page step. If it is still missing, your Facebook account may not have access to it - follow Give someone posting access to a Facebook Page.
"You no longer have the right role on this Facebook Page"
A Page admin needs to give you full control or Content access again. Then go to Accounts and click Reconnect next to the Page.
Facebook asks me to confirm my account
Log in at facebook.com, complete Facebook's checks, then click Reconnect in Skylane.
I want to post to my personal profile
Meta removed this for every app in August 2018. Create a free Page instead - see Why can't I post to my Facebook personal profile?.

What Skylane can do with a Page
Post text, links, photos, videos, Reels and Stories, read basic Page and post insights for analytics, and check the connection is healthy. The full list of permissions and why we need them is in our Privacy Policy.
