Before you start
- You have a Threads profile. Threads profiles are created with an Instagram account.
- You are the owner or an admin of the Skylane workspace. Other roles cannot connect accounts.
Steps
- Step 1
Open Accounts in Skylane
In the left-hand menu, click Accounts. Scroll to the Connect an account section, where each network has its own card.

Sign in and approve
Sign in with the Instagram account your Threads profile uses, then approve the permissions Skylane asks for.
- Step 4
Choose what to add
Back in Skylane, a box called Choose what to add from Threads appears. Tick each one you want to schedule to - each counts as one social account on your plan - then click the Add button (it shows how many you ticked, for example Add 1 account).

Good to know
- Each Threads post can be up to 500 characters. The composer counts them for you and can split longer text into a thread.
- Threads connections need renewing from time to time. Skylane warns you 7 days before.
Common problems
Post too long
Shorten the Threads caption in the composer, or split it into a thread.
Connection expired
Go to Accounts and click Reconnect next to the Threads profile. See Reconnect an account.
