Before you start
- Your Bluesky handle, for example yourname.bsky.social or your own domain.
- You are the owner or an admin of the Skylane workspace. Other roles cannot connect accounts.
Steps
- Step 1
Open Accounts in Skylane
In the left-hand menu, click Accounts. Scroll to the Connect an account section, where each network has its own card.

Click Connect Bluesky
On the Bluesky card, click Connect Bluesky. A small form appears below the cards.

Enter your handle
Type your handle into Your Bluesky handle and click Continue to Bluesky.

Approve on your Bluesky server
Your Bluesky server's own sign-in page opens. Sign in there and approve access for Skylane.

Choose what to add
Back in Skylane, a box called Choose what to add from Bluesky appears. Tick each one you want to schedule to - each counts as one social account on your plan - then click the Add button (it shows how many you ticked, for example Add 1 account).

Check it says Connected
Under Connected accounts, your Bluesky account now shows a green Connected badge. You can click Queue times next to it to set the days and times you like to post.

Good to know
- Do I need an app password? No. Skylane uses Bluesky's OAuth sign-in, so you never create or paste an app password.
- Posts can be up to 300 characters, with up to 4 images or 1 video. The composer counts characters for you.
Common problems
Handle not found
Check the spelling, including the part after the dot (for example .bsky.social). Custom-domain handles work too.
"Your Bluesky session has expired"
Click Reconnect next to the account in Accounts.
